Mr. Willie Michael Ellis

Willie Michael Ellis, 72, of Rising Fawn, Georgia, passed away November 5th, 2022.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:00 AM ET at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 8th from 4:00-8:00 PM ET and on Wednesday, November 9th from 9:00-11:00 AM ET.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also had a heart for animals, especially his cats. Willie was a veteran of the United States Army and served for 28 years. He toured in Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Desert Storm, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Willie is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Pamela McDonald Ellis; and his parents, Willie and Ruby Roberts Ellis.

He is survived by his daughter, Leabertia (Jeff) Kent; son, Frazier Ellis; sister, Pat (Jay) Cookston; brother, Gary (Gigi) Ellis; grandchildren, Trinity Higgins, Kelvin Ellis, and Wyatt Kent; great-grandchild, Lillith Higgins; and nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
