Mr. William Dale Robertson

William Dale Robertson, 78, of Valley Head, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born September 25, 1943 on Lookout Mountain to the late William Edward and Mary Rose Robertson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force with the 421st Tactical Fighter Squadron and was a Vietnam veteran. Dale retired as Assistant Chief from The Town of Lookout Mountain Tennessee Fire and Police Department after 30 years of service. He was a resident of Dade County for over 40 years, loved to fish and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He cherished his family and loved spending time with them. Dale will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jim Robertson; infant sister, Janice Ann Robertson; and stepfather, Robert Stanley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 48 years, Candy Robertson; daughter, Tiffany (Perry) Collins; son, Eric (Jimi) Robertson; brother, Ken Robertson; grandchildren, Zac (Caitlin) Collins, Jacob (Morgan) Collins, Leah (Roy) Klosowski; great-grandchildren, Natalie Collins, C.J. Collins, Kingsley Collins, Jax Higbie and Rae Higbie, Grace Klosowski, Maddison Klosowski; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM CT (12:00 ET) on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 283 Carmichael Road, Valley Head, AL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
