William David Brown

David Brown, 65, of Trenton, Georgia passed away on March 10th, 2025, with his family by his side.

He was a devoted brother, husband, father, and “Big Daddy”. He spent the last 25 years of his life as the pastor of two local churches, Ascalon Baptist Church and Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and supporting his grandkids in all of their activities. He loved the Tennessee Volunteers, the Atlanta Braves, and he never met a stranger. He loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trenton, Georgia.

David is preceded in death by his wife Deborah (Debbie) Pell Brown, father James William (Bill) Brown, mother Mary Lou (Jo) Brown Wilkie, and grandson Landon Scott Hill.

He is survived by his three children; Greg (Carrie) Brown of Jefferson, Georgia; Katie (Jeremy) Hill of Trenton, Georgia; Colton (Rachel) Brown of Athens, Tennessee; sister Martha (Danny) Rowell of Trenton, Georgia; Grandchildren Parker Hill, Rylee Brown, Easton Hill, Willow Brown, Carden Brown, Wyatt Brown, and Madelyn Brown. Multiple nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to celebrate David's life is set for Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Tim Renshaw officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12th from 4:00 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET, and again on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
