Wendell Taylor Payne

TRENTON, GA: Wendell Taylor Payne, age 69, passed away February 14, 2014. He served in the National Guard, Specialist E-5, was an insurance agent with American General, and was a member of the National Life Underwriters Association, loved hunting and fishing . He was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie L. Payne; sons Michael Lacy and Glenn Lacy; parents George and Willie Mae Payne; sisters Billie Lou Rogers and Inez Cagle; brother George Payne.
Survivors include his daughter Melody Stone of Rossville, GA.; brother John Edward Payne; sister-in-law Inez B. Payne; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends
Funeral service will be Monday at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Minister Bernard Keith officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
