TRENTON GA: Wallace Ames Lay III, age 60 passed away, Saturday, February 20, 2016. He worked for Heatec and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed knife making and forging.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Ames Lay Jr. and Sybil Shurden Lay; grandsons, Johnathan Kemp Haddon and Ian Michael Overton; sister, Alisa Lay
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Capelle Lay; daughters, Sybil Lay Haddon, Brandy Lay Ferguson, Jamie Maxwell Coley, Leslie Michael Lay and Lindsay Elizabeth Lay; son, Wallace Ames Lay IV; sisters, Brenda Glenn and Janice Nester; brother, Jimmy Minga; step mother, Ruth Lay Lumus; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday February 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Wednesday 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM
