Vernon Lloyd Gentry

TRENTON, GA.: Vernon Lloyd Gentry, age 73, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 10, 2013. He was a loving father and grandfather who loved fishing and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Will & Lillian Gentry; son Timothy David Gentry; brother Warren Gentry; sisters Pauline Taylor, Dorothy Weathers, Velma Logan, Vera Ashford.
Survivors include his daughter Teresa Drew; son Mark Gentry (Cristy); mother of Teresa and Mark Diane Gentry; 7 grandchildren Jason, Cassie, Tristaca, Shayne, Dakota, Breanne, Reianne; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Monday, May 13, 2013 in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Taylor and Brother Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Gap Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1:00 ~ 8:00 PM Sunday, 10:00 ~ 2:00 Monday.
