LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA: Thomas Jefferson (T.J.) Land II, age 28, passed away October 28, 2013. He was a loving father to Cali Beth Land, enjoyed fishing and baseball, was a huge Tennessee Vols fan, and loved to eat.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Milton “Edgie” Dotson and Donald Lamar Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Land, daughter Cali Beth Land; father Thomas J. Land Sr.; mother Alicia Simpson; step-father Danny Simpson; step-sons Austin Campbell and Justin Shavers; grandmothers Margaret Novella Gray Dotson and JoAnn McDaniel; half-sisters Summer Simpson and Dixie Simpson; half brother Dustin Bowling; step-brother Daniel Shawn Moore; step-sisters Qerina Kaylynne Giddens and Gabrielle Dionne Moore; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM EDT in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Hawkins Cemetery.
Visitation Thursday 3:00 ~ 9:00 PM EDT; Friday 11:00 ~ 2:00
