FLAT ROCK AL: Terry Wayne “Smitty” Smith, age 62, passed away February 14, 2016. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served with the Higdon Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Clear View Baptist Church, Higdon, AL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bogan and Odessa Smith, five sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-three years, Lillie E. Smith; daughter Cyndi Gail (John) Long, Flat Rock, AL; son Toby (Kristi) Smith, Fyffe, AL; six sisters, three brothers, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM EST Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Kirby Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Higdon Cemetery.
