Susie Elizabeth Cloud, 84, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021; surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. Her family was her greatest joy.
She was born November 20, 1936 in Guntersville, AL, to the late James Daniel and Willie Oria Anderton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Roy Lee Cloud and sister Ruby Bright.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Donald) Black and Sandie (Randy) Jackson, a son, Ken (Renea) Cloud; her brother, Earl (Diane) Anderton, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Sue was a true servant of the Lord, who depicted the picture of a Godly women who loved the Lord with her whole heart. She found joy in attending church and singing praises to our Lord every Sunday.
Sue could be found working in her garden during the week. She was always happy to see everyone and she never met a stranger. She showed her love through her cooking and was known for her Christian generosity by preparing and providing meals to anyone and everyone.
She will be greatly missed and leaves behind a legacy of love with her family and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful people at Hearth Hospice of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia.
The family will host visitors from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2021 and Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
