RISING FAWN, GA: Stephen Alan Merritt, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was a long time resident of Rising Fawn, GA. Stephen loved to camp, canoe and kayak.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Haskell P. Merritt and Bobbie (Dawn) Merritt and one son, Tillman Merritt.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mitzi (Gass) Merritt, step daughter, Summer Morgan (Eric) and daughter-in-law, Sabrina Osborn, along with one brother, Bill Merritt (Kim), and one grandchild, Aniston Scott Merritt.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Reece Fauscett officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday May 21, 2015.
