STEPHEN McCORMICK
TRENTON, GA: Stephen Wayne McCormick, age 17, passed away December 16, 2014. He was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Stephen was quarterback of the Dade County Wolverines Football Team, a member of the track team, tennis team, weight lifting team, and MMA.
He was preceded in death by his sister Kayla McCormick, grandmother Barbara Jean McCormick, great-grandparents Charlie Floyd, Pauline Morgan; Henry and Virtes Swafford, Wes and Elsie Massey, Harrison and Jessie Mae McCormick, Winnie and Ida Stephens.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne and April McCormick; sisters Melissa Dawn Brock, Stephanie Brooke (Travis) Fitzgerald, and Kristen Leigh McCormick; grandparents Wendell McCormick, Edd and Sue Stephens; niece and nephew Kayleigh Anne and Koty Ryan Norton; niece Ryleigh Brooke Fitzgerald; several aunts and uncles, and a host of friends and classmates.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM EST Sunday, December 21, 2014 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wallace, Rev. Jody Massey, and Rev. Lonny Denny officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery, Rising Fawn, GA.
Visitation will be Friday 4:00 ~ 8:00 PM EST; Saturday 2:00 ~ 8:00 PM EST; Sunday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM EST.
