SARAH SMITH
CHATTANOOGA, TN: Sarah Elizabeth (McKeown) Smith, age 91, passed away November 9, 2014. Formerly from Rossville, GA, she lived in the Chattanooga area most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Straightway Baptist Church, Bryant, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Elmer Smith, son Harlan Smith, parents Thomas S. and Stella McKeown; sister Dorothy Wooten, brother Mitchell McKeown .
Survivors include her son Lamar (Roxy) Smith of Trenton, GA; seven grandchildren, Angela (Ricky) Williamson, Michael Smith, Kenny (Becky) Smith, Kristy (Eric) Smith, Tiffany (Randall) Day, Chris (Jena) Smith, Samantha Smith, Erica Smith; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM EST Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Straightway Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Hixon and Bro. Gary Bone officiating. Burial will follow in Straightway Cemetery.
Visitation Wednesday 11:00 AM ~ 8 PM at the Bryant Chapel; Thursday 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM at Straightway Baptist Church.
