Sandy Ronan

Sandra “Sandy” Lee Ronan, age 64, of Trenton, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at CHI-Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Sandy was born in Flint, Michigan on February 23, 1960 to the late Charles "Chuck" and Dorsa Lackey. Her family later moved to the North Georgia area and made their home in Dade County. Sandy was a 1978 graduate of Northwest Georgia High School and later continued her educational studies at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Sandy later returned to Flint, Michigan where she worked as a Funds Transfer Representative with Citizens Bank. Sandy returned to Dade County and was married to the love of her life, Dennis Michael Ronan, Jr. and resided in Trenton, Georgia for several years. Sandy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trenton, where she was beloved by her church family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Although her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family, there is peace in knowing that she is now resting in the presence of the Lord.

In addition to her parents, Sandy is also preceded in death by two siblings, Bobby Lackey and Tracey Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Michael Ronan, Jr; and her siblings, Charles "Chuckie" Lackey and Lisa Jo Sanders

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sandy will be held at a later date at Calvary Baptist Church in Trenton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sandy’s memory to the Breast Cancer Foundation
