Roy Lee Gearrin

ROY GEARRIN   TRENTON, GA: Roy Lee Gearrin of New England, Georgia passed away on March 18, 2014 at the age of 94. He was a decorated World War II veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Crane Company and Rockwell International. He enjoyed gardening, bluegrass music, and was an avid Braves fan. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-one years, Cloia Mae Gearrin; parents, James Lee and Ada Gearrin of Rising Fawn, brother Fred L. Gearrin, Sr. of Spring City, TN. Survivors include his children Cindy (Paul) Arnold, Trenton, GA; Mr. & Mrs. Michael Gearrin, Trion, GA; grandchildren Miranda(Ricky) Masters, Shaena Arnold, Michael Lee Gearrin, Jr., Julie Witt, Robert Stephen Gearrin, Benjamin Boulware, Angela Robinson; brother Charles Ralph “Sonny” Gearrin, Rossville, GA; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
