Ronny "Ron" Earl Cardin, age 69, of Bryant, AL, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. 

Ron was born in Hammond, IN, on July 20, 1955. He worked as a computer programmer for Transamerica until he moved to Bryant, AL, where he was a jack of all trades for Fortner Farms for almost 20 years.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Roland "Red" and Peggy Gifford Cardin, and his grandparents, Harvey and Myrtle Cardin, and Ernest and Dovey Gifford.

He is survived by his children, Roland (Shelley) Cardin, Lindsay (Joe) Moyer, and Ashley (Nate) Loomis; and his grandchildren, Kyle and Sonya Cadin, Evan, Allie, and Lexie Moyer, and Ava Loomis. Ron is also remembered by his brothers, Tim (Monica) Cardin and Danny (Tammy) Cardin.

A graveside service to honor Ron's life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM CT at Espey Cemetery, located at 406 Jefferson Pike, Smyrna, Tennessee. Brother Mark Teet and Brother Royce Cornelison will officiate the service. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM CT at Smyrna Holiness Church before the graveside service. 

Pallbearers for the service will include Steele Fortner, Shade Fortner, Lucas Pritchett, Logan Pritchett, Bryson Bridges, and Will Bridges. Levi and Landree Pritchett will serve as honorary pallbearers.
