ROETTA GILBERT
TRENTON GA: Mildred Roetta Gilbert, age 78 a loving mother and grandmother passed away, Friday, February 19, 2016. She went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Ms Gilbert is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. (Buck) McCurdy; husband, Gerald Gilbert; two sons, Tony and Jimmy Gilbert; one infant daughter, Sharon Gilbert and one brother, Rex McCurdy.
Surviving children, Annette Wright, Valley Head, Alabama, Terry (Cindy) Gilbert, Rising Fawn, Georgia, Michelle (James) Rice, Trenton, Georgia and one adopted daughter caregiver, Donna Weldon; sisters, Edith Ellis, Reba Coleman both of Henegar Alabama, Mona Casey, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Loretta Goins , Trenton, Georgia, Lebron McCurdy, Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 22, 2016 1:00 PM with Reverend Terry Trivette officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Monday 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM
