Mr. Robert Dodson
September 6, 1930 — December 7, 2020
HIXSON, TN: Robert Eugene Dodson, age 90, passed away peacefully at his son’s home on December 7, 2020. He was a loving father, grandfather, veteran and businessman. He was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Davis, and his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Eloise Pennington Dodson.
Survivors include son Jeff Dodson and his wife, Lara, and son Kevin Dodson; eleven grandchildren ~ Britton, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Christian, Jeffery, Madeleine, Gretchen, Harrison, Autumn, and Reagan; one great grandson ~ Robert Jeffery Dodson III; and a host of family and friends.
Burial will be in Hawkins Cemetery on Lookout Mountain in Rising Fawn, GA. Funeral services will delayed due to the global pandemic but a memorial will be held at a later date.
