Rick West

HIGDON, AL: Luther Richard (Rick) West, age 60, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He was formerly employed at BI-LO in Tiftonia, he was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Shiloh Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Luther West and step-daughter Cynthia Hunter.
Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Shirley West, his mother Dorothy Lee West, daughter Kristy West, step son Jacob Hunter, sister Debbie (Larry) Cloud, 2 grandchildren, Jeffery West and Hunter West, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 500 PM EDT Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the Shiloh Community Church with Wayland Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Payne’s Gap Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM ~5: 00 PM EDT at the church.
