TRENTON, GA: Rex Lowery Giles age 91 a loving husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather passed away Friday, April 12, 2013. He was a member of Trenton First Baptist Church. He was a United States Army World War II Veteran a member and past officer of American Legion Post #106, a fan of baseball, Braves and Lookouts.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Nicie Giles; brothers and sister, Charles, Harv, Earl, Jim and Mary.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Giles; son and daughter in law, Bart and Myra Brannon; sisters, Elizabeth Griffith and Geraldine Chambers; grandchildren, James Barton (Brittany) Brannon III and Tiffany (Seth) Castleberry; great grandchildren, Taylor Brannon, Rylie Brannon and Paige Castleberry; half brothers and sisters, Henry, Marshall, Gary, Sue, Tammy, Faye, Marie and Jennifer; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM EDT Sunday April 14, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Cantrell and Brother Dewayne Roberson officiating. Burial with military honors will be held in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM ~ 1:00 PM
