RAY STEELE, JR.
TRENTON, GA: Raymond Leslie Steele, Jr., age 67, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014. He was a 1965 graduate of Dade County High School and a graduate of Northwest Georgia Tech. He was vice president of Sentinel Fire Protection, Cleveland, TN and was a member of the Rising Fawn United Methodist Church. He served as choir director for 50 years at Trenton First Baptist Church and Rising Fawn United Methodist Church.
Ray was an Eagle Scout. He served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion Post # 106. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Steele, Sr. and brother, Mike Steele; father in law, Raymond Steele.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Steele, son Ray Steele, III and wife, Jen Steele, Greenfield, IN and daughter, Brandi Steele, Trenton; mother, Ollie Steele Wallin; sister, Faye McCreary and mother in law, Dessie Sims; grandchildren, Katie Steele, Julia Steele and Charly Steele-Dixon.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Cook and Brother Gary Bell officiating. Interment with Military Honors by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guards will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday 1:00 PM ~6:00 PM
Monday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM
