Mr. Raymond Foshee

Raymond Odell Foshee, age 61 of Flat Rock, AL went home with his Lord on Friday, March 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM ET on Monday, March 6, 2023 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Brent Michaels, Brother Mark Finlayson, and Bro Gabriel Nic officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Gap Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 PM ET and Monday from 11AM until the service hour.
Raymond was born in Jackson County, AL on November 26, 1961 to Charles Edward and Marilyn Rosa Burns Foshee. In 2000, he married his forever love, Sheila Diane Wilbanks Foshee.
Left to treasure his memories include his wife, Sheila; his daughter, Rebecca Foshee; step-daughter, Holly Finlayson Hughes; son-in-law, John Hughes; grandchildren, Travis Foshee, Jade Foshee, and Lila Dalton; step-grandchildren Mikey and Savannah Hughes; siblings, Barbara and Steve Harrison, Charles and Michelle Foshee, Wanda and Lester Rivenbark, Ben and Renee Foshee; half sister, Linda Swearengin; sisters-in-law, Debbie and Mark Finlayson, and Cathy Wilbanks; many nieces, nephews, friends, and members of Ider Holiness Church.
Brother Raymond was a faithful and beloved member of Ider Holiness Church for nine years after receiving the Holy Ghost on June 13, 2014 at Huntsville Holiness Church. Brother Raymond’s love for the Lord and his church family was evident every time he came through the door!
As a husband, Dad, and Papaw Ray Ray, he was number one! As a Child of God he was a truly inspirational one to follow! Ider Holiness Church has lost a precious member whose shoes will never be filled and he will forever be missed, but our loss is heaven’s gain! In May 1981, Raymond was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps.
Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Foshee and George Donaldson, father, Charles Foshee, infant sister Mary Elizabeth Foshee, and father and mother in-law, Ray and Virginia Wilbanks.
