She is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Blackerby, Jr. and parents, Philbin Travis and Helen Inez Turk
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (James) Chambers, Trenton, GA; sons Stephen (Patty) Blackerby, Greenville, AL. and David Blackerby, Wetumpka, AL.; step-son John Blackerby III, Montgomery, AL; brother Philbin Turk, Jr.; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
