Mrs. Pam Prince

December 9, 1957 — August 16, 2021

Pamela Annette (McGill) Prince of Trenton, Georgia passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Monday evening, August 16, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Pam was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was retired from a long career in nursing – first at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton with the majority of her career spent as a Critical Care Nurse in CCU at Memorial Hospital (Chattanooga, TN). She was loved and respected by her co-workers for the care she gave to her patients, her knowledge and expertise in nursing, and most of all for her kind spirit that she gifted both to her patients and everyone else around her.

Pam was a lover of Jesus, family, friends, cats, books, and she enjoyed sewing, crafting, gardening, but most of all, spending time with her precious grandchildren. She is known for her quick wit and ability to find humor in most any situation. Her ability to recall historical information earned her the title of “Family Historian” for the McGill family. She had a memory like an elephant but never failed to forgive and forget when someone had done her wrong.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Rebecca McGill of South Pittsburg, TN; infant brother Roy Allen McGill, brother Terry McGill and her precious son, Jeremy Shannon Prince.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Shannon Prince, daughters Tammy (Larry) Johnson, Renee (Scott) Williams, Beth (Jake) Endicott and special daughter in law Stephenie (Brian) Keat, 10 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings Janie (Mickey) Wilson, Rodney (Kim) McGill, Melissa (Darrell) Tinker her stepmother Charlotte McGill and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 20th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton.
