Palmer Dale Nash, 84, of Bryant, AL, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 1, 2022 with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm et on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, AL with Brother Todd Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm et and on Sunday from 12:00 pm until the funeral hour.
Palmer was born to the late Burla and Edna Martin Nash on August 22, 1938. He was a retired truck driver and owner of P&V Leather. Palmer enjoyed traveling and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and camping. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a member of American Legion Post 106, Past Master of Masonic Lodge 920 and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church since 1956. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Manuel Nash, Harmon Nash, Vina Bowen, Billy Nash and James Nash.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Virginia Nash; daughters, Teresa Nash Miller, Denese Nash and Angela (Jerry) Payne; sisters, Mabel Weldon, Hilda Kinsey and Nelda Long; brother, Charles (Peggy) Nash; sister in-law, Mary Ann Nash; grandchildren, Chelsea Miller, Dalton Payne and Victoria Payne; many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
