Oval Talley Moore Sr.

TALLEY MOORE SR.
NEW SALEM, GA: Oval Talley Moore, Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Talley was an artist at rock masonry and was the oldest member of New Salem Baptist Church at the time of his death.
Talley is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Fannie Moore; daughter Barbara Moore; grandsons Tracy Moore and Nathan Moore; brothers and sisters.
Talley is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Bertha Moore, New Salem; son Oval Moore, Jr., Rising Fawn; sister JoAnn Roach, Rossville, GA; granddaughters Karen (Vince) Hardin, Bryant, AL; Cynthia (Mark) Courtney, New Salem; Amanda (Rich) Nichols, Knoxville; Kim Stephens, Wildwood,GA; seven great-grandchildren: Starla Gross, Dallas Harris, Evan Courtney, Tyler Courtney, Camrie Courtney, Lilli Cate Nichols, Nathan Lee Nichols; three great-great-grandchildren: Adilynn Gross, Trever Gross, Eastin Miller; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2015 at Hawkins Cemetery with Reverend Jim Hixon officiating.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Tapestry Hospice for their love and tender care during this time.
