Mrs. Ola Florence Evers

Ola Florence Evers, 81, of Bryant, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Ola was born April 17, 1941 to the late Howard Lee and Lonia Mae Hawkins. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of Straightway Baptist Church and served as treasurer for many years. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Evers; son, Wayne Evers; siblings, Emsey K. Hawkins, Edna Ruth Hill, Laura Lorene Armstrong, Sally Louise Vann, William Eskell Hawkins, Newell Amos Hawkins, Raymond Lee Hawkins, Julius Ralph Hawkins and Vera Inez Barnnett..

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Janet Cerutti and Willa Lambert (Johnny Bell); son, Frederick “Fred” (Susan) Cerutti III; sister, Catherine Marie Dobbs; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Bryant Chapel on Moore Funeral Home Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM ET with Brother Gary Bone and Sam Whited officiating. She will be laid to rest in Bryant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM ET.
