Mr. Nelson Davis

Robert Nelson Davis, age 91, of Trenton, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Nelson was born January 8, 1930 in Wildwood, GA to the late Robert and Lorene Davis. He was a welder by trade and was an excellent mechanic. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Nelson was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Davis, son, Lloyd Nelson Davis and brother, Billy Davis.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jerry (Vonda) Davis, Barbara Solomon and Nancy Smith; sister, Dorothy (Kenny) Clevenger; brother, Gene Davis; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 ET (12:00 CT) on Friday, December 17, 2021 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother David Smith and David Plank officiating. Burial will follow at Hooker Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET and on Friday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.
