BRYANT AL: Nelda Jean Reece, 73, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Homer Reece; parents, J.P. and Gladys Sharpton; daughter, Regina Reece and son, Barry Reece.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise (Anthony) Laney; sisters, Geneda Pilcher, Pat Sharpton; five grandchildren, Amber (Mal) Smith, Keely (Chris) Pierce, Aubrey Ledbetter (fiancé Brooke Gentle), Dillion (Kaitlyn) Reece and Zeb Reece; two great-grandchildren, Jace and Journee Reece.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM EST on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Browns Gap Cemetery with Brother Darren Rogers officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Comfort Care Hospice of Scottsboro, AL and Prestige Home Care of Chattanooga TN for their compassionate care.
We respectfully request that social distancing and CDC Covid-19 measures are followed.
