Nancy Jean Duncan Rider

Nancy Jean Duncan Rider, 66, of Dayton, TN passed away on September 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was a vivacious and caring person who deeply loved her family. She was most proud of her work as a long-distance truck driver. She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Rider; parents, Georgia and Jack Duncan; sisters, Brenda, Linda and Jackie.

She is survived by children Tim (Maura) Duncan of Dayton, TN and Casey (Brittany) Rider of Dunlap, TN; sister Pat (Wendell) Gordy of Chattanooga, TN; brother John (Ronda) Duncan of Red Bank, TN; grandchildren, Harley and Jessica Duncan, Sabrina (Josh) Williams, Gregory Stewart, Tiffany (Nick) and Olivia Hamill, Ava Meyers; great-grandchildren, Jayda and Rayleigh Stewart, Torri Jones.

Services will be held at Moore Funeral Home on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 2:00 EDT with Chaplin Maureen Fryer officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM with burial to follow immediately after at Brown Gap Cemetery.
