Mildred Elizabeth Chapman

Mildred Elizabeth Chapman, age 91, of Bryant, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was a member of Straightway Baptist Church, loved gardening and canning. Mildred loved her family and did everything for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Chapman; son, Dennis Chapman; daughter in law, Jackie Chapman; grandson, Ladale Chapman; great grandson, Caleb Workman; parents, Marshall and Anna Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Stanley Chapman, Bernard Chapman and Janie Parker; daughter in law, Sandra Chapman; brother, Sherman (Wilma) Smith; grandchildren, Lebron Chapman, Billy (Annette) Chapman, Cindy (Howie) Workman, Terry (Tracy) Chapman, Nichole (Jay) Maddox; eleven great grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren; nieces, and a special niece/daughter and care giver, Sheila Smith; nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Gary Bone, Brother Brent Smith and Brother Jim Hixson officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 ~ 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 ~ 3:00 PM EST.
