MAURICE MCGUFFEY
RISING FAWN, GA: Maurice “Mac” Winston McGuffey, age 81, passed away October 7, 2014. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion and also V.F.W. Post # 4848, and enjoyed working on clocks, working on the farm, and loved being with his family.
He was survived by his fiancé Anna Kizer; daughter and son-in-law Maura & Floyd (Bunny) Robertson; son and daughter-in-law Steven & Pam McGuffey; step-son Trippe & Katherine York; sister Sybil (Cecil) Ward; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors and Brother Jim Blaylock officiating.
