MATT OLIVER
Clayton “Matt” Oliver, 63, went home to be with his Lord on July 2, 2021. He is now singing and playing his guitar with The Angel Band. He enjoyed singing with his life-long friends, Frankie Brooks and Carl Quinn, at the Cove Methodist Christmas. Singing was a passion of Matt’s.
Matt graduated from Gordon Lee High School and worked in telecommunications.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Dell Brown, his parents Frankie Oliver and Daphene Oliver, and brother Wade Oliver.
He is survived by his grandsons Nikkilus and Silas Duvall, whom he enjoyed raising; daughter Jessica Oliver; brother Mark (Amy) Oliver; nieces Elizabeth and Leah Oliver, nephew Jason (Brandi) Oliver, great-nephews Kameron and Brisyn Oliver; special friends David Dunagan, Tony and Dori Moreland.
A celebration of life be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM EDT in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Robby Dunn officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM EDT to service time.
