Mrs. Mary Frances Wilson

Mary Frances Bell Wilson, 88, of Lookout Mountain, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was born July 13, 1933 in Fort Payne, AL to the late Frank and Thelma Mae Wooten. Mary loved to play pranks on her family and give gag gifts at Christmas. She retired from the textile industry after 42 years of service at Crystal Springs and Rossville Mills. She was a member of the Free Holiness Church, enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Fred Bell and husband of 13 years, James Wilson.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Gwinda Lee Taylor and Jeanette (Mark) Walker; sister, Lois; grandchildren, Sandy (Josh) Walker, Cody Walker and Elizabeth Lee Taylor; great-grandchildren, Brandon Lee Hayes, Lexus Iris Hayes, Austin Lee Walker, Christopher Brent Walker, Oliver Gil and Owen Gil.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM ET on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Mount Olive Cemetery on Lookout Mountain.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM ET and Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home..
