Mary Rethal Williams

ROSSVILLE GA: Mary Rethal Williams, age 90, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Mary was born February 14, 1931 in Scottsboro, AL to the late Alvin and Eula Watts. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook for her family. Mary was a very giving person and enjoyed making people happy. She was a member of Slygo Free Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Grover Hixon, Jack Moon, Dub Williams; son, Gary Hixon; great grandsons, Jake Hixon, Anthony Beck; several brothers and sisters

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Norma (Glen) Barton, Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Scott (Stephanie) Hixon, Janna (Frank) Parker, Heather (Michael) Wilson, Chad Hixon; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 12:00 PM ET in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Troy Lawson and Brother Donnie Walker officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, Trenton, GA.
