MARY SHORT
TRENTON GA: Mary Jane Short went to Heaven on July 19, 2014 at the age of 49. She was an amazing and loving woman, wife, sister, aunt and friend to many. Mary graduated from Oak Ridge High School in Orlando and took some college courses in art at the University of Central Florida. Everyone who knew her saw her many talents in art. She drew, painted, and did beautiful cross stitching. She loved reading her Bible, was a big fan of novels, loved cats and the color red. Mary was very special and an inspiration to all who met her. She will be truly missed until we all reunite with her in Heaven.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother Darla Jones; her sister, Paula Jones; and her nephew Alan Hughes.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond (Ray); her father, Glen Jones of Orlando, Florida; her sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Terrill Hughes, and nephew Weston Hughes of San Antonio, Texas; her brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Tabitha Jones of Phoenix, Arizona, and niece Ashley and Tony Lucas; and great nephews/nieces, Preston, Aron, Kendall and Georgia Lucas of Phoenix.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday July 25, 2014 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Camp and Rev. Jon Barr officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday 9:30 AM ~ 11:00 AM at Piney Grove Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: Silent Word Ministries PO Box 889 Trenton, GA 30752
