MARY MOORE
NEW SALEM, GA: Mary Ruth Moore, age 83 passed away, Monday, December 29, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of the New Salem community and member of New Salem United Methodist Church. She also attended New Salem Baptist church.
Her parents, Leonard and Dixie Miller, her sons, Lonnie Wayne and Donnie Dewayne and her husband Leon Watson “Dub” Moore whom she dearly loved preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by sister, Betty Moore brothers, Morris and Bob Miller.
She was also a beloved mother of five children and their spouses, Ray (Donna) Moore, June Moore, Lebron “Pete” (Ramona) Moore, Douglas “Peanut” (Lisa) Moore all of whom reside in the New Salem area and LeVon (Sean) Reynolds, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
She is survived by seven grandchildren, Kendra (Jeremy) Belcher, Erica (Ryan) Cooper, Kristin Babic, Erin (Kerry) Johnson, Samantha (Doug) Pieper, Megan (Jeff) Hewitt and Shaina (Daniel) Chandler. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Brayton, Brynlee Johnson, Lane, Dylan, Ethan and Jacob Cooper, Ryan Babic and Kellan Chandler; sisters, Edna Earl Daniel and Dixie Ann Powell; brothers, Johnny , Junior and Kenneth Miller.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Burial will be held in New Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Wednesday 11:00 Am ~ 2:00 PM
