Mary Lois Gray

Mary Lois Gray, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at her home in Trenton, GA.

A funeral service to honor Mary's life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM ET in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.

Mary was born on October 29, 1940 to the late George Sanders and Clara Ann McBryar Clark. She found joy in cooking, crocheting, casino trips, and True Crime. Above all else, Mary cherished her role as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; her dedication to her family knew no bounds.

Mary's memory lives on through her son Kent Gray; grandchildren Autumn (Andrew Sarjant) Gray and Kenneth Wayne "Trey" Gray III; sisters, JoAnn (Doyle) Stone; sisters-in-law, Nayomia Rogers and Donnie (J.D.) Rogers; several extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth W. Gray Sr.; daughter-in-law Cheryl Gray; siblings Junior Clark, Buddy Clark, Bobby Clark, and Shelby Barton; brothers-in-law Oscar Barton and Harold Rogers; and sisters-in-law Nina Ruth Clark, Ethel Clark, and Doris (Wilborn) West; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kelvie B. and Bertie Gilreath Gray.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Brandi Hicks, Crystal Holt, and the staff at Hearth Hospice for providing compassionate care during Mary's final days.  They would also like to extend thanks to Bobby and Kay Kennedy.
