She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Farmer; parents, Sherman Andrew McGhee and Ethel Mae McGhee; sons Anthony Johnson, Donald Heaton, daughter Marsha Mitchell; sister Reva McGhee.
Survivors include her son, Troy (Christy) McGhee, Bryant, AL; sister E. Ann (Thomas) Smith, Chattanooga, TN; brothers Sherman (Irene) McGhee, Jr. Ft. Smith, AK, Jimmy (Shirley) McGhee, Sylvania, AL; two grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM EDT Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Higdon Cemetery.
