Martha Sue Westbrook

MARTHA WESTBROOK   RISING FAWN, GA: Martha Sue Westbrook, age 83, passed away April 22, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed cooking for everyone. She  was a devout Christian of the Baptist faith.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Winnie Veale, one brother, one sister, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.   Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years, Travis “Pop” Westbrook; daughters Linda Swafford (Danny), Apison, TN; Susan Gross (Randy), Apison, TN; Christine Spencley, Trenton, GA; Emily Westbrook, Rising Fawn, GA; sons Travis “Tab” ( Robin) Westbrook, Jr., Rising Fawn, GA; David Westbrook (Brenda), Madison, GA; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren;  sister Anita Watkins Thomaston; nieces, nephews, and  a host of friends.   A memorial service will be held Friday, April 25, at 2:00 PM EDT at the Cloverdale Baptist  Church with Bro. Richard Ellis officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International, %Dade County Gideons, P. O.
