Martha Sue Nash

Martha Sue Nash, 78, of Bryant, AL passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Martha was born August 15, 1943 in Long Island, AL to the late Willie and Cecil Moore. She was the former owner of Nash Leather in Bryant. Martha was devoted to her family and always made sure their needs were met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Nash and in-laws, Edna and Burla Nash.

Left to cherish her memories are son, Jeff (Mavulenia) Nash; daughter, Carla Maynard; sister, Barbara (Lebron) Farmer; grandsons, Kasey and Kyle Nash; sister in-laws, Mabel Weldon, Hilda Kinsey, Nelda (Raymond) Long, Mary Ann Nash; brother in-laws, Palmer (Virginia) Nash and Charles (Peggy) Nash; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, AL on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM ET with Brother Steve Townson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Bryant, AL.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET and Sunday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
