MARGARET GREEN
HIGDON, AL: Margaret Louise Green, age 89, passed away September 8, 2015 at her residence. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and foster mother, caring for fifty-eight foster children in her home over the years past. Margaret enjoyed watching Braves Baseball games. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Green, and parents Raymond William and Della Mae May.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Moore and Linda Tinker of Chattanooga, TN; son David Green, Higdon, AL .; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM EDT Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Hixon officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM EDT ~ 8:00 PM EDT Wednesday, September 9; Thursday 10:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM EDT
