Mrs. Maezell Bowman Bone

Maezell Bowman Bone, 81, of Trenton, GA, passed away peacefully at home early Sunday, April 2, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Guffey and Brother Edwin Spurgeon officiating. She will be laid to rest at Bryant Holiness Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

Maezell was born October 12, 1941 to the late Ben and Bessie Bowman. She was a member of Griffin Holiness and Higdon Holiness Church. Maezell received the holy ghost at Black Oak Holiness Church in 1991. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, yard sales and tending to her flowers and garden. Most of all, she loved her family and was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Left to treasure her memories include her daughter, Kay (Rodney) Blevins; grandchildren, Autumn (Curtis) Enoch and Brandy (David) Hyman; great-grandchildren, Remington and Kennedy Enoch; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles Bone; sisters, Earline “Dean” Barron and Maxine Thomas; and niece, Sandra Higdon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedysis Hospice, Tanya Pearson and Susan Clark for their compassionate care.
