Lynn Newman

SEQUATCHIE, TN: Betty Lynn Newman Swaggerty, 47, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born April 18, 1974 to the late Doyle and Betty Louise Tishaw. Lynn was the Pastor of New Life Church of God in Trenton, GA. She loved singing, preaching, visiting the elderly and praying for others. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rev. Paul Edward Newman Jr. and Randy Wade Swaggerty; parents, Doyle and Betty Louise Tishaw; several aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Caden Scott Newman; sisters, Kelly (Mark) Phillips, Sheila Tishaw and Selena Johnson; brother in-law, Joey (Joanna) Newman; several nephews, one niece and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM EDT on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Burns Cemetery in Sequatchie, TN. The service will be led by Brother Carrol Allen.
