Louis Raybron McBryar

Louis Raybron McBryar, age 86, of Trenton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024 in the Trenton Chapel with Pastor Shane Cloud and Josh McBryar officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until the service hour. 

Louis was a native of Dade County and was born on February 1, 1938 to Lack & Carrie McBryar and has resided in the Davis community on Sand Mountain for several years. He was employed for several years with Kenco in Chattanooga and enjoyed watching Fox News, Gunsmoke, The Andy Griffith show as well as watching wildlife from his home. Louis also enjoyed gardening and a good cup of his favorite coffee. He was a man of deep faith who loved the Lord and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Trenton. Louis will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of faith and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of his family.

Louis is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Wilkie McBryar; his parents, Lack & Carrie Daniel McBryar; brothers, Lebron, Bay, Levine, Roy, & J.C. McBryar and a daughter-in-law, Jinnie Lynn McBryar. 

Survivors include his sons, Mickey (Dianne) McBryar, Roger (Beckie) McBryar and Scottie McBryar all of Trenton; seven grandchildren, Carla, Jessica, Rachel, Josh, Kimi, Alex, Jonathan; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hearth Hospice for their care and compassion during this time.
