LLOYD MOORE
NEW SALEM, GA: Lloyd Raymond Moore, age 88 passed away Saturday, May 09, 2015. He was a United States World War II Army Veteran, had worked in construction and member of Carpenter Local #74 and was a member of Lookout Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Miller Moore; parents, Leon and Mae Moore; brothers, Herman, Dub, Cortez and Dezy Moore; sisters, Ethelene Moore, Lorna King, Ann Marie Crisp and Freida Wall.
Survivors include his daughters, Sue Fairris, Bryant, AL and Myrna (Ray) Reilly, New Salem; son, Tommy Moore, New Salem; brothers, Jerry Moore Middleport NY and Dale Moore, New Salem; seven grandchildren, Ina Blanchard, Mory Fairris, Renee Atkins, Robby Reilly, Sonya Boles, Virginia Mealor and Jared Moore; fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Don Self officiating. Burial will be held in New Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Monday 11:00 AM ~ 2:00 PM
