Linda Bowen-Whitmore

Linda Corine Bowen-Whitmore, age 60, passed away peacefully at her home in Trenton, GA, on October 20, 2024.

A talented Master Cosmetologist, Linda dedicated many years to her craft, providing exceptional hair-cutting and styling services that touched the lives of countless clients. Her sweet, kind and loving demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere for all who visited her.

Linda held her family close to her heart and was treasured by those who knew her. She attended Shiloh Community Church and the New Salem Methodist Church, where she found joy and strength in her faith.

She is survived by her beloved children, Rebecca (Diego) Velez and Dakota (Sierra) Whitmore, as well as her step-daughters, Ashley (Bradley) McKenzie and Heather Whitmore. Linda's legacy also lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Isabella, Scarlett, Stella, Dixie, Bo, Ava, and Cody, along with her great-grandchild, Nova Lee Grace.

Linda is remembered fondly by her siblings, Terry (Trish) Bowen, Debbie Minor, and Carla (Tim) Porter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Louise Bowen, and her granddaughter, Bethany Grace Baltimore.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor at Shiloh Community Church in Higdon, AL, on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 4:00 PM ET, with visitation beginning at 3:00 PM.

Linda Corine Bowen-Whitmore will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
