LESTER HICKS
RISING FAWN, GA: Lester G. Hicks, age 62, of the New Salem Community passed away May 7, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hicks.
Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-four years, Darlene Hicks; daughter Shannon (Robby) Dunn; son Brian (Rebecca) Edwards; mother Lerlene Hicks; brother Don (Dorothy) Hicks; grandchildren Grayson, Garrett, Amber, Dylan, and Nathan; special cousins Dennis and Kathy Gray; special brother-in-law Bo Wilson; several nieces, nephews, host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM EDT in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Hampton and Rev. Jim Hixon officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EDT; Friday 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM EDT.
