Larry "Pop" Cagle

Larry “Pop” Cagle, age 75, of Trenton, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in the Trenton Chapel with Bro. Cliff Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour at 4:00 PM.

Mr. Cagle was born in Summerville, Georgia on December 11, 1947, to the late Edward and Eloise Cagle and has resided in Dade County for the past 57 years. He was employed by Amerisource in Chattanooga, where he served as a route driver, delivering pharmaceuticals to various locations throughout the area. Mr. Cagle was a true family man and loved spending time together with them as much as possible. He had a passion for fishing but also enjoyed working on cars, mowing his yard and caring for his dog “Babe.” He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his stepfather, Clifford Wesley Witlock.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Charlotte Sams Cagle; son, Wesley Eugene (Jennifer) Cagle; half-sister, Betty Stanfield; grandson, Mickey Eugene Cagle; granddaughter, Tamra Arline (Larry) Leford and great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Sky Ledford.
