L. Manuel Nash, age 94, of Scottsboro, AL., passed away August 19, 2020. He was a life time member of the Methodist Church and loved spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II and Korea. He was Past Potentate of Alhambra Shrine in Chattanooga and member of the East Lake Masonic Lodge.
Owner of Nash Construction Products, Mr. Nash was a general contractor in the Chattanooga area for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Burl and Edna Nash; brothers Harmon, Billy and James Nash and sister Vina Bowen.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 76 years Lorene Nash; daughter Dolores “Tootsie” (Edd) McKinney; son L. Manuel “Hal” Nash, Jr.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters Mabel Welden, Hilda Kinsey, Nelda (Raymond) Long; brothers Palmer (Virginia) Nash, Charles (Peggy) Nash; sister-in-laws Mary Ann Nash, Martha Nash; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM EDT Sunday, August 23, 2020 in the Bryant Chapel with Brother Mike Stenson and Brother Gary Bone officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM EDT.
