KENNETH TOWNSON
Bryant, AL: Kenneth Townson, age 84, passed away February 4, 2013. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, member of TAG Motor Club, and helped organize the Tri Community Volunteer Fire Fighters. He was a member of Straightway Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Virgie Townson, brother Royce Townson, and sister Reba Manson.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-four years, Martila Townson, daughter Sheila Blevins, and adopted daughter Vicky (Jerry) Townson; sisters Elva Townson, Lottie Douglas, Mavis Kennemore, Judy Knight, all of Bryant, AL; Betty Cloud, Higdon, AL; brothers Freeman Townson, Jimmie Townson, Jerry Townson, all of Bryant, grandson Brian (Rosie) Blevins; great-grandchildren Madelyn Blevins, Ethan Blevins, Madison Hensley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM EST in the Bryant Chapel with Bro. Gary Bone and Rev. Jim Hixon officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard
Visitation will be held Tuesday 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Wednesday 1:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM; Thursday 12:00 ~ 2:00 PM EST.
